Alexandra Neighbourhood House is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, welcome place for individuals within its community. Grimm’s was privileged to able to work with Alex House in their latest fundraising efforts. Saturday, September 27th marked the date of the First Annual Oktoberfest on the organization’s Crescent Beach, BC property; out came the beer steins and lederhosen’s! Grimm’s Fine Foods were the exclusive food sponsors of the day’s festivities. Guest’s ticket price included the choice of a Grimm’s Bavarian Smokie or European Wiener. Volunteers ran the Grimm’s station handing out our smokies and wieners in true German fashion while the guests enjoyed the events activities. At the end of the day $3500 was raised to support monthly Community Lunch Programs and several of the Alex House’s children’s programs. A big thank you to the Alexandra Neighbourhood House for including Grimm’s in the day’s events and allowing us to get in touch with our German roots!
