Grimm’s had a chance to be a part of the fun at the Great Okanagan Beer Festival this past weekend in Kelowna, BC. This was our first time sponsoring the event and we have to say we had a blast! We kicked off the weekend on Friday with an interview on Power 104 Kelowna’s Best Rock followed by Grimm’s Kelowna Bar Hop which put everyone in good spirits for the main event. The weather was perfect at Waterfront Park as 3,000 attendees gathered for a day of beer tasting, music, and great food. Gibbons did an incredible job of hosting, getting everything organized, and making the day run smoothly. We were on-site serving up Bavarian Smokies, European Wieners, and Naturally Fermented Sauerkraut with all proceeds going to the Central Okanagan Food Bank . Were we ever busy! Sausage and beer really are the perfect combination. At the end of the day, we were proud to say that we raised $3400 for the Food Bank who had volunteers on hand to help us out. A big thank you to everyone who purchased a Bavarian Smokie or European Wiener on Saturday, the funds will be put to good use. You can check out photos from the event and even our interview with Power 104, another big thanks to their amazing team who helped get the message out. We’re already ready for next year!
